Drexel Hill, PA – Pennsylvania State Senator Thomas J. McGarrigle along with State Representative Jamie Santora in coordination with Congressman Pat Meehan hosted a Job Fair on March 31. Held at Upper Darby High School, the job fair took place during evening hours to make it more convenient for unemployed constituents as well as for employed constituents possibly seeking different employment.
The Job Fair featured over 60 employers and over 300 constituents utilized this event. “I was very pleased with the Job Fair that our offices put together for our constituents,”
CAPP USA, the largest employer in Clifton Heights Borough and a successful manufacturing company as confirmed they have hired an employee as a direct result from the Job Fair. In a written statement from Eileen Casey of CAPP USA, “CAPP USA is very pleased to announce we have interviewed and hired our first full time employee as a result of the Job Fair held at Upper Darby High School on Thursday March 31 hosted by Senator Tom McGarrigle, State Rep Jamie Santora, and Congressman Pat Meehan,”
McGarrigle said, “I am very excited that our Job Fair resulted in a quick hiring for our constituents. We are currently seeking feedback from the employers that attended the fair to see if any other constituents were hired with their companies.”
